Random Pictures From March

Winter had to do a report on a famous person and then dress up as them to do a presentaion.
Winter got Vera Miles.
For Andrew's birthday this year I planned a night out with some friends.
We went to Twin Peaks for dinner, then Laser Tag, and finished the night at Stacey's house playing games.
Andrew made Beignets for us one morning. They were so yummy!
The recipe made a ton so we ate good all week!
We had some nice days so we got the bikes out!
Celebrated St. Patricks day with good food and good friends!
Andrew made lamb, colcannon, Irish soda bread, and for dessert, Guinness chocolate cupcake with Irish cream frosting.  The guys washed it down with Guinness beer, baileys Irish cream and Jameson Irish whiskey.
Andrew installed a basketball hoop over spring break.
Weston went to his first Paint the Town party.  He now has a picture hanging in his bathroom just like his big sis!

Spring Break

This year we decided to take the kids to Branson for a couple days.  This was the first time we have ever been so we didn't plan a whole lot since we just wanted to check everything out.  The main reason we decided to go here was because Buckets N Boards had a show scheduled for that Friday!  We saw them on the Dinsney Cruise and the kids loved them.  We left early Thursday morning and came home on Saturday.

Day 1- On the way to Branson we stopped to check out Big Brutus.
Weston wouldn't humor me and let me take his picture in the car.
Big Brutus.
As soon as we got into Branson we headed to Stone Hill Winery!

After that we walked around Branson Landing and checked out Dick's 5 and 10.
Trying to get a family picture. As usual Weston didn't want to cooperate.
He did want a picture with this giant jelly bean though.
We finished the day by grabbing dinner, then letting the kids go back to the hotel to swim.

Day 2-  This day started with a Duck Tour.  We got to take a tour of Branson and Table Rock Lake.
The kids loved these Quackers.
On the tour!

Then we got to go on the lake and the kids got to drive the boat/car!
Next up was Buckets N Boards!
Then one of the host from the show surprised us and jumped into the picture.
After the show!  We loved it just as much as the first time!
We finished the day with some go-carts, mini golf, and dinner.  We had planned to take the kids back to the go-carts after dinner, but they said they were exhausted!

Day 3- On the last day we stopped at the Fish Hatchery before heading home.  We got home just in time for dinner, and since it was Andrew's Birthday we let him pick dinner and dessert!  He picked Poplar pizza and wings for dinner and apple crumble for dessert!  It was a great mini trip and we are excited to head back to Branson soon!
