Big News

Our family has some big news to announce!  We are moving back to Nebraska!!!  Andrew got a job in Omaha and his first day was Aug. 25th .  The kids and I have been hanging out in Wichita since we still have the house up for sale here.  We are working on buying a house in Omaha to live in while the Wichita house is on the market and while we work on building our forever home.  Since Andrew has been back in Nebraska the kids and I have been traveling back quite a bit. 

First Day of School

The day before the first day of school we had our usual day of fun.  We went to Chuck E Cheese, Orange Leaf for lunch, had to pause for dentist appointments, swimming, Freddy's for dinner, and then watched a movie to unwind!  School started on Aug. 13th for Winter and Aug. 14th for Weston.

Again this year Weston wanted to have a photo shoot.  He is way more interested in taking pictures then his sister.

Kansas City Balloon Festival

On Saturday KC had their anual Hot Air Balloon Festival and I have been wanting to take the kids to it.  We were a little disappointed in the lack of activities during the day but watching the balloons at night made up for it.  We ended up going shopping over at Legends to waste some time.

Weston wanted a picture of the cup.

At the festival they offered rides in a hot air balloon, but after the kids saw that it only went up a little bit they decided it wasn't worth standing in line for.
