Halloween and Husker Game

The weekend before Halloween we headed back to Lincoln for the Nebraska/Michigan game.  Some friends of ours that are Michigan fans came to Lincoln for the game also.  We left Wichita early Friday so we could make it back in time for a Halloween activity that my family was going to.  On the way back we got a nice surprise when our car wouldn't start when we stopped for a potty break in Concordia.  Thankfully it was just the battery and after getting jump started we were on our way.  We did have to stop at O' Reillys in Beatrice to replace the old battery but we still made it in time for the party.  After the Halloween party I also got to go to my first Husker Volleyball game.  Sadly though, we lost.

 Saturday we headed downtown early to pre-party before the game.  Since we only had two tickets the boys watched the game at a bar while Lindsey and I braved the cold.

 Sunday we got on the road fairly early since we had tickets to Trick or Treat street again this year.  The kids had a lot of fun.

We won one of the decorated pumpkins they raffled off!
