Cancun Part 1!

For Andrew and I's 10 year wedding anniversary we went to Cancun for a week!  We left Friday, March 6th for KC.  On Saturday, March 7th we flew into Cancun.  When we got in, we ended up going straight to the resort.  We ate dinner at the restaurant that was at our resort that was right next to the beach.  After that, we went back to our room to check it out and relax so we could get an early start the next day!

The main floor had a kitchen, dining room, living room with balcony, bathroom, and bedroom with balcony.

On the second floor was another bathroom, bedroom, and balcony.  It was huge and amazing!

 On Sunday, March 8th we woke up and had checked out our view in the daylight.  It was gorgeous!  We got ready and started walking down to the shopping area.  It didn't seem that far away when we drove in the night before.  After a while though we decided to take the bus.  We rode the bus forever and never saw what we were looking for.   We finally got off and started walking some more.  After realizing that we were lost, and somehow must have missed it, we hopped back on the bus and it drove us all the way back.  We then realized that we came in on a one way the night before and that there was shopping in-between the road going the other way so we had missed what we were looking for!

 After lunch we stopped at Senor Frogs for dessert.

 We walked around a little more, stopped at the grocery store, and then decided to go relax by the beach!

 

On Monday,  March 9 we spent the morning on the beach, walked around the shops some more after that, sat by the pool, and finished the night with a romantic lobster dinner cruise.  It was perfect!
