Sunday- This morning was windy and you could really feel the movement on the boat. I ended up waking up at 6 from it and couldn't get back to bed. While everyone was sleeping I went to the laundry area to iron our formal wear. When I got back, Andrew and the kids had started to stir so we decided to go have breakfast and swim. We had breakfast at Topsiders before swimming. I think everyone that saw the kids in the pool that morning thought they were crazy. It was cold and very windy.
When they had enough of the cold, they got dressed so they could go to the Oceaneers Lab and make flubber. While they were in there I decided to take a short nap since I was still feeling a little uneasy from the movement. Thankfully that helped and when I woke up I was back to normal.
Next we went and got the kids so we could make prince/princess crowns in the Promenade Lounge. After that we went to Parrot Cay for lunch but since they didn't have Mac n cheese we switched to Topsiders. Thankfully we had time until our next activity so we could take our time at lunch.
At 4 we had Tea With Alice. The kids learned the proper way to take tea(apple juice) by Alice and the Mad Hatter. When it was over the kids got an opportunity to take their picture with them. Then we had to go to our room so we could get ready for dinner. This was formal night so we decided to dress up a little. We all wore blue and ended up getting a really good family picture. We also got to meet the Captain and officers.
Before dinner at Lumiere's we went to the Promenade Lounge to listen to music. Lumiere's ended up being my favorite restaurant and favorite meal. I had Gaston's Escargot(this was my 1st time trying snails-yum!), Mrs. Potts French Onion Soup, Three Cheese Lobster Macaroni, and Lumiere's Sweet Temptations. Andrew had Duck Confit, French Onion Soup, Crispy Roasted Duck, and for dessert he had the Ice Cream Sundae. The kids had their usual.
When we finished dinner we hurried to Rockin' D Bar so we could get good seats for the show Buckets N Boards. Weston laughed so hard during the whole show. If you are ever in the Branson area in the summer, you should really check them out. We loved them! Our show for the night was Twice Charmed: An Original Twist on the Cinderella Story. After the show we went back to the room and watched some Disney shows before calling it a night.
Monday- We started this day with breakfast at Topsiders, then took the kids swimming. Around 10:30 we took them back to the room to get dressed. Andrew and I had bunch reservations at Palo at 11. Some of the things we got to try-caviar, oysters Rockefeller, crawfish, lots of different types of cheeses, and grape and Gorgonzola pizza(YUM!) While we were at Brunch the kids got to make pasta houses in the Oceaneers Lab.
Dinner this night took us to Animator's Palate. When we showed up the pictures were in black and white, but as dinner went on everything started to change to color. Even the waiters vest went from black and white to color! I had the sesame-flavored Rock Shrimp and Caramelized onion Cheesecake(yuk), baked potato and cheddar cheese soup(ok), Animator's Grilled Veal Chop, and for dessert I had the double fudge chocolate cake. This was my least favorite meal. Andrew had the Ahi Tuna Tartare, Lemon-Tyme Marinated Chicken, and for dessert the buckled warm apple crumble. Weston had pizza and Winter had her usual.
Weston's new trick he showed us.
I had to get Winter out of the shower so I told Weston to get undressed because he was next. Well when I came out this is what I found! I see a really funny graduation picture in his future!
Caught...
Cheese!
After we picked them up we went and got them lunch at Pluto's Dog House. Weston had a hot dog and Winter had chicken strips. Next on the Navigator was the show Charles Peachock, from America's Got Talent. It was a juggling show.
Showing us how big his tummy is after lunch.
Right after that was the Walk for Wildlife. We got to meet Jiminy Cricket before walking laps around deck 4. The kids didn't make it through all the laps. They got distracted by the Shuffleboard. We also spent time walking around the ship and hanging out on the sports deck.
Mickey came out to say hello.
After dinner we went to Who Wants To Be A Mouseketeer. It is just like Who Wants to be a Millionaire but all the questions are Disney. It was fun and we learned some new things. When it was over we headed to our show, Villains Tonight.
This night was one of the latest since Andrew and I went to a night show. We put the kids in the Oceaneers Club so we could go to the adult version of Buckets N Boards. I think I said this already but I loved this show! While we were at our show the kids got to have a pajama party with Pluto! They even got to decorate a pillow case to take home. Right after picking them up we went back to the room to go to bed. Tuesday was going to be a busy day in Grand Cayman!
